Our seven free galleries showcase the fascinating and the unique, the biggest and the best. Visit Tūhura, our stunning science centre, with 45 hands-on interactives, including a giant slide, and a three-tier tropical butterfly enclosure, or take in the beauty of the night sky on the 360 degree dome ceiling screen in our planetarium.

Our cafe serves great coffee (using Spout Alternatives milk), fresh food including children's and vegan options. Our shop has a really good range of gifts, homewares, jewellery and educational toys and games.
